With the ongoing mental health crisis in the United States and the public’s acute need for access to psychological services, the Board of Directors of the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) approved the creation of the Psychology Inter-jurisdictional Compact. As of May 8th, 2025, there's 43 states that have enacted PsyPact. 

 

This means that anyone residing in the 43 states have a large pool of psychologists to obtain services from and any PSYPACT holder can practice within those 43 states.
